PHOTOVOLTAIC CARPORT
MAROMA

Maroma is a steel carport designed to be installed on any terrain. It makes maximum use of solar energy from the photovoltaic installation.
Its ease of installation means that it can be installed by anchoring it to a footing or concrete ballast. It adapts to the requirements of each project: dimensions and orientation of the PV module, size and power of the installation.
Its versatility and integration allow it to be installed either stand-alone or as a modular system in both residential and commercial environments.

MAROMA
The side panel can be customised with a corporate image. Possibility of thermo-lacquering in a corporate colour or the colours of the RAL chart.
Possibility of incorporating a charging module for electric vehicles and LED lighting.
Channelling system that ensures the dispersal of water, allowing ventilation of the PV modules and the installation of bi-facial solutions.
Solution with anchoring to foundations without the need for an embedded plate. Direct bolted anchoring for maximum performance on concrete.
Structure able to withstand wind loads of up to 140 km/h and up to 40 kg/m2 of snow
No special aids are required for installation. Bolted joints. Easily handled parts weighing less than 55 kg

OTHERS
Classic profile that leaves the wiring visible and accessible. Limited aesthetics and no customisation.
No possibility of fitting other accessories: electric vehicle charger, LED lighting, etc.
Uses corrugated sheet metal: impossible to install bi-facial panels.
Embedded plate and prior staking out needed. Difficult coordination in the foundations.
Only able to withstand wind loads of up to 110 km/h and up to 40 kg/m2 of snow
Requires costly assembly and lifting equipment. Difficult to handle pieces weighing up to 250 kg

CLOSED SECTION
Non visible and safe wiring passage. No need to install cable tray.

HIGH LOAD RESISTANCE
WIND: Up to 140 km/h
Snow Up to 40 Kg/m2

FOUNDATIONS AND ANCHORING
Solution with anchoring to foundations without the need for an anchor plate embedded in concrete.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Integration of chargers for electric vehicles, water channelling, LED lighting, corporate image and customised colour.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. SOLASOL canopies are modular and can be adapted to any panel type.
Yes. Additional accessories such as chargers can be incorporated.
No. The parts that make up the structure are easy to handle and are light in terms of size and weight to facilitate handling. To install the carport, all you need is a lifting platform or a professional ladder.
No. This structure has been designed to be installed on the ground. If you want a structure for the terrace, contact our sales department and they will give you details of the solutions we have available.
It depends on the type of panel being installed. In most cases, it is possible to fit 9 to 15 units per 2-space module.
No. This is one of the many improvements of the new SOLASOL carport. Prior embedding of an anchor plate is not required. The structure is ready to be installed by anchoring it directly to the pavement (as long as it complies with the conditions indicated in our datasheet).
Please consult the guarantee conditions.
Yes. SOLASOL canopies have been designed to withstand the pressures and loads that can occur in any part of the country.
We offer the Maroma carport with a limited range of RAL colours. However, the structure can be thermo-lacquered in any colour, as long as it is on the RAL reference chart.
Yes, it’s normal. Some of our parts are given a discontinuous galvanised treatment (hot-dip), to make them more resistant and durable. During this, it is common for roughness or imperfections to appear on the parts that have undergone this process.
The structure must not be drilled or bored. The structure is designed with all the holes, sections and machining needed, so no further action is necessary.
If you need specific manufacturing, please contact our technical department.
Yes. Our structures have the European CE certificate and comply with all current regulations and the CTE.
